For instance, within the last five years, Simon has represented various print media organisations in relation to claim for costs arising from Libel, Breach of Privacy and Defamation actions and other organsations concerning litigation arising from data breaches. He has advised Solicitors and Insurers in relation to claims for costs arising out of the Clapham rail crash, haulage disputes and construction litigation including arbitrations. He has also worked with a well-known firm of Solicitors who specialise in sports litigation in high profile sports arbitrations involving football and rugby teams and has advised as to the reasonableness of US Lawyers' fees in excess of $1 million arising out of a class action in Orange County, California and a US Justice Department investigation in Washington DC.
